According to the pics here, there are a few lower floor (non-deluxe) Oceanfront rooms that should have a similar view of Diamond Head. Anyone have any experience with the regular OF rooms on the Diamond Head side of the hotel?

The AAA rate for a stay in the next 2 weeks is great, but the difference between an OF room and a deluxe OF room is $130/night.

That's almost double the daily rate.
