i have had a number of work related instances in the past where i've been staying at a particular spg property for about a week & then in the middle of that i have had to travel to another city for a day....i don't check out of the 1st property & just check into the 2nd property for a day....i always got 2 stay credits for this....but, i make a point of calling the platinum desk & letting them know i'm doing this....have never had a problem....
