Taxis are very cheap in HK, so don't worry about the cost.

On our first day, we took the tram to Victoria Peak. Think about taking the Star Ferry from Kowloon to Hong Kong Island. This is where the tram departs from. Get directions at the hotel.

Think about day trips (30 - 45 minute ferry rides) to Lantau Island to see the Big Buddah. Take the ferry one way, and the cable car (amazing ride),
plus subway on the return.

Check out Dim Sum for dim sum. It's a Shanghai 1930's looking type of a place. Not much atmosphere, but cheap and good food.
