Of course, I just arrived home from Westport, CT with minimal traffic --- and would never... ever... venture onto 28 during black Friday. I have a super-secret non-traffic route from my house via 38.... which lands you @ our tax-free mall with ZERO traffic.
I think I know that route...I've used the back entrance to Rockingham off 38 a few times.
Unfortunately, when the parents live off of Exit 43 off of 495, it often means taking 213 to 93 or dealing with 28 (or learning the back roads that parallel 28, which is what I've learned to do).
