I can live with the 737s and their occasional shortcomings. Were I in Alaska management however, I'd be more concerned that I had an employee or two working for my airline who wouldn't even take the initiative to update LIH with information on the resolution of the off-loaded bags. It would have been relatively easy and not overly time consuming to scan the tags of the 50 off loaded bags and fire off a message to LIH as to their disposition.
As for an Alaska 757, well, it would be a fine looking bird and we can always dream...
