For many years we held our semi-monthly non-summer Toronto Dos at PJ O'Briens, so thought you might want to know that Pat Quinn, owner of PJs here succumb to kidney failure earlier this week:

This was also the spot where Randy Petersen fetted a group of us a few years ago when he came through the city. We will, of course, partake in an homage visit to one of the snugs early next year. BTW I used to run into Quinn from time to time on our mutual daily walks downtown that he took with his small black poodle. Of course, in keeping with the obvious, the dog's name was GUINNESS!
