Paparazzi took the place of Shula's 347 which was the nicest hotel restaurant at an LAX hotel (in terms of decor -- the food was marginal, which is why it did not last -- I hear Paparazzi is much better).

Not sure if the Custom Hotel has its own shuttle or is part of a shared route? There is a restaurant there called Bistrotek which has some interesting fare. I have had lunch here a few times and enjoyed it.

Another option if you are in the mood for German fare would be a place called Chalet Edelweiss that recently opened on Sepulveda. You could get there without much trouble using The Parking Spot Sepulveda (Red) shuttle. My wife and I tried this place a month ago and it was good.
