I'm needing a two bedroom suite at a Residence Inn to accomodate family and the price warrants Marriott Rewards Redemption. I would love to confirm a 2BR using Marriott Reward points, but my understanding is that I can only confirm a 1BR and use the certificate at check-in. Is the 2BR upgrade only based on availability at check-in or could calling the hotel directly assist in reserving a 2BR knowing that the certificate is coming. Any experiences at Residence Inn using upgrade certs would be helpful
