US damaged my bag/contents. What to expect?
OK, so when I arrived in LAX from PHX, I found that one of my checked bags and its contents had been damaged. I made a claim for $350 at the baggage desk and I was given a "Baggage Information and Passenger Property Form" to fill out and mail to US.
Is there anything in particular that I should do to expedite the claim? Anything else to expect?
