The thing that annoys me more than anything is when they address me in a loud voice by name and ask me (as a Gold) if everything is to my satisfaction with a deeply insincere look on their face. Why do you say the announcements are smug? What don't you like about them? I'm curious.
As for the embezzlement, that really is very unfair. One crew member out of many thousands was doing something very, very wrong - but please that doesn't make everybody the same. Do you have any idea how much BA crew do for charity, whether it be Change for Good, Dreamflight or any of many other charities? You'd be very surprised to hear how much is done that isn't talked about on here.
