I'd suggest you do a search for here for previous threads. In general, the comments have been pretty positive.

I know the reviews on Trip Advisor are rather mixed. However, a couple of points to remember:
1. Most hotel reviews on Trip Advisor or either gushingly complimentary or a total trashing of a property. There doesn't seem to be much middle ground.
2. The new Marriott is ~650 rooms. It's awfully tough training a staff of the size needed to run a new place of that size without running into a least a few problems. For them, it meant hiring and training about 300-500 people out of a total population of 38,000 on the island.
