Certainly no doubt about what the FT community prefers when it comes to safaris!

I hear you all loud and clear but I am still ot sure. Let me explain:

It will be my future wifes first safari, actually also her first time in Africa. Maybe a safari "light" (as opposed to "way out there, blow all fuses, Botswana") is better the first time?

I am still worried about the flight onwards from SA to the Seychelles. For a number of reasons I want to avoid Air Seychelles at almost any price. That probably means flying EK or QR the long way around via Doha or Dubai. Prehaps that means too much flying and time at airports if we also opt for going to Botswana?
