I'm Hilton Gold and usually stay at Marriotts as an alternate choice. I will be travelling to Sydney soon and becasue the Hilton there is closed for renovations, I have booked a room at the Sydney Harbor Marriott.
Is it possible to use points to upgrade to the exectuive level? I know that comp upgrades are a frequent topic here, but haven't seen anything on using points to upgrade. The Marriott web pages makes refernce to "upgrade certificates (reward code 010)" but I didn't see anything on this. Could a Marriott expert fill me in?
