I haved stayed at all three properties and I would recommend the Courtyard over the Marriott and the Renaissance if you just need a room. The Courtyard is further down in Oak Brook Terrace near where Butterfield road meets 22nd Street. The rooms and the hotel interior appear to be renovated to the new courtyard look and feel. The Renaissance would be my second choice. The rooms are nice and the hotel staff is very friendly. However my recommendation against them is they only run the heat when the temperature drops below 55 degrees. This can lead to very chilly nights in their rooms during spring and fall(unfortuantely I experienced this one week).

The Marriott even with a renovated lobby still has very tired rooms. The rooms are smaller than the courtyard or Renaissance and they have the usual lets try to bleed you dry with telephone charges. The Renaissance and of course the courtyard if you have status don't even begin to bleed you dry on the phone calls(800 calls).

I have stayed at all three properties with in the last year and stayed extensively at the Renaissance this year. I just recently tried the Courtyard and was really impressed by the rennovated rooms which are so much nicer than the old Courtyard rooms.
