While it in no way it affects where I stay I must say the Hilton E Folo is pretty cool. I use it often to check the extra charges that invariably get added after departure. With other chains I usually eat those expenses as I can't be bothered figuring out how to get a fresh copy....

Of course not allowing an extra charge after departure would be a better option. Not that any hotel would cheat but I do find many "mistakes" with charges after I leave.

You may well give permission to the hotel to charge after the original statement is settled but it is actually against the terms and conditions of the agreement that a merchant has with their credit card company.
