I am flying on US on Dec. 16 returning on Dec. 19. The flight on the 16th will make me 1P (currently 2P). IME when lucky, US flights credit in 48 hrs.

Assuming they credit on the 18th to MP:
1) Will I automatically become 1P in UA system? (I will be at 60 EQS)

2) How long does it take *A carriers to recognize *Gold status? Do I have any shot at it getting recognized for the return on the 19th?
