Gamecock - love the Christkindl Markt's in Germany! I usually stay at this dirt cheap hotel next to the Hauptbanhof (Hotel Europa - 40 euro's/day). Easy access to lots of cool german towns. Just decided to go someplace new on this one.

I already did my demi-MR to Madrid this year (during DBEQM ^). It's looking like I'm 501 short of the 125k for ELTRW so might have to do a micro-MR to DFW (yawn).

You folks have fun. Do recommend getting a good nap right after lunch in Madrid then head out for tapas followed by dinner around 9pm. It's hard to get dinner any earlier there.

EDIT: found *** in Norte Madrid for $129 (2 nites @ $282 a.i.) on hotwire. I prefer El Centro myself, though
