We left DCA Thursday, Nov. 12th and took the 7:30 PM flight out of ORD for FRA. We booked via the local Entertainment book a friend gave me that links to AA Vacations and provides a 10% discount. We stayed 2 nights at the Intercontinental and left FRA Sunday at 2:10 PM. If I had bought the flights only off the AA website it would have cost me about $75 less so I got flights, a 4 star hotel for 2 nights located 5 minutes from the train station and near the river, an unbelieveable breakfast for 2 days and all for $1326.67 for 2 people($663/person). I'm not a professional mileage runner and other then taking the coast to coast $62 run a few weeks back (thanks to Virgin for getting the price down), the Frankfurt trip is my last one for my ExP. I'm not sure if you can get the same deal out of ORD, but I thought the DCA package was relatively painless for the $'s and the outbound flight was only a third full so sleeping on the 3 across was good too.

Good Luck! I'm so glad I'm done, but I'm still flying . . . just not trying to beat the Dec. 15 DEQM deadline. Puerto Rico is next (business) - and the outbound is via Miami, but the return is straight back to DFW.
