Well, excellent strategy... it is like returning a Porsche Carrera as it doesnt accelerate as you would expect and they say "thank you for driving back, we hope you will still buy Porsche in the future" and hinting to buy a WV Passat that can speed up as well and takes you to B from A at a fraction of the that price... I thought BA is a revenue driven organization.
