The Amsterdam Marriott was one of my favorite European hotel experiences. The property is in the middle of everything, the staff is great and, as the previous poster said, within walking distance of all major AMS sites.
The only negative was that I picked the week they decided to sandblast the hotel exterior...and they started on my side of the hotel on my arrival as I was trying to nap after a redeye flight.
