I much prefer punching in my 10 number Medallion number + 4 number pin on the keypad to having to dictate it to them. When you punch it in it not only screens your call, but it also passes that info on to the CSR so when they answer the phone they already have your information on their computer. It takes me maybe five seconds to punch in those 14 numbers at this point ...
BTW, it is not required that you punch in your number and PIN on the DL Special Services line, it is just an option that you can select or not.
