"With the new EasyPurchase program, we're making the search for exact change a thing of the past. United customers are now able to use credit and debit cards for all in-flight purchases. This service is available on all United flights, with the exception of United Express.

We have now phased out cash and will only accept credit and debit cards on flights within the United States (including Hawaii), international trans-Atlantic flights and on flights to and from Canada, South America, the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America. United Express flights continue to accept only cash."

I have only seen the FA having trouble with the e-reader on one flight. They just put the device back in it's case and brought out a second one...
