We have been tardy in booking a holiday vacation this year. My wife, my 7 yr old daughter, and I are interested in finding a Marriott Hotel or resort (or JWMarriott, or Ritz-Carleton, or any other brand names within the Marriott empire) in a warm climate at a location in the Western Hemisphere north of the equator (outside of Orlando, which we have visited too many times recently).

We recently became MVCI owners, and I am a basic member of the Marriott hotel guest program.
