Renaissance Gatwick Airport Review

All in all, not a bad hotel, but the shuttle (every 30 minutes!) is a bit of a nuisance, and they charge a pound for it!

The room was nice enough, and I got a decent late supper at the coffee shop at the back of the lobby. The biggest trouble is that the big shuttle bus with 30 people/groups all hit the lobby at once, and they are not geared for this influx.

My rate was less than either the Meridien or the Hilton (the two walking distance hotels - and an inside walk too), so I viewed that as being the trade-off. I have to say that if the rates were the same I would stay at one of the other two properties.
