@YEG - Fly through shares the lane with families, wheelchairs, and airline escorted passengers. If a wheelchair comes through with airline escort, they will tie up the line for 4-5 minutes.
All due respect to IluvSQ, but I've had this issue at YUL domestic, where the lane is also shared with families, etc. If I see 1 - 2 families with strollers and babies ahead of me and the regular line is short, I use the regular. If not, I follow the VIP sign on the right side of the cattle chute (in the domestic section). I think there is also a doorway/line up to the right in the transborder section.
Dmanmtl - if you've got the elite status, you're entitled to use it (for you and for your family traveling with you).
