I booked a 5 night (5th night free) award reservation. They were out of standard rooms (don't know why since the hotel was not very full), so I had to call and get a Specialty room (21,500 points/night) which was an Ocean View Room.
May I ask when you booked? I currently have a three-night reservation booked for January 2010, but it's a cash rate of $360/night for a mountain view room. An award reservation for the same room type is 20,000 points. If an ocean view room is only an extra 1,500 points/night, then I'll definitely call and switch. Thanks.
