i stayed there once and in my memory it was about 40 minutes to the city center depending on traffic. It was definitely NOT convenient to the typical tourist attractions, and not much in the way of local restaurants. It might be similar to staying at a EWR or JFK hotel then having to commute into Manhattan for tourist attractions.
