Eddie Bauer 27" -- carry on?
Saw the Eddie Bauer 27" semi-duffel at Target today for $139.99. Tumi 22" at Costo was $199.99. Too much price difference to justify the latter.

I usually fly in J -- can I get away with carrying on the Eddie Bauer? I swear I've seen larger luggage going into the overhead bins! 60% of my travel is transatlantic (more permissive on carry-ons) and 40% domestic.

Thoughts, advice?
