I got a post card with the email address to order on it first, then got a f/u email a few days later.

I don't know who was or wasn't targeted, but unless you got the email/postcard, I believe that you were not eligible.

And I agree it is a good sturdy vase that will be unlikely to tip over and looks quite nice.
