i thought it was a new product because seat guru discusses a new version having only 4 rows of biz...which i mine had. and there seemed to be discussion on here about "will my flight have the new biz" etc.

so yeah...it's similar to LH's biz which I also don't like because of the angle. the service is great on asiana and the food is excellent. but the angled seat is very uncomfortable to me and makes it impossible to sleep.

that said, after my first flight from sfo-icn i connected to syd and was in 3k. i think the seat reclined slightly further than on my first flight in 2k. so, perhaps because of the curvature of the plane row 2 windows should be avoided or maybe i just had a faulty seat. still tho...seat not great. lots of wasted space in the design and they could do better.

yes, i had looping movies on the 2nd flight. first one seemed to be on demand, but still only about 5 movies to choose from and bad picture quality.

oh well...lesson learned. flying to sydney via seoul was a hairbrained idea to begin with. i should have just taken united's surly service but true-flat seats or air new zealand, which i love.
