Hi retired FF, yes what you have done is buy a cheapie V/W which is non everything, the ticket states many times that NOTHING is changeable, basically no mileage, it's a use or lose in the name and the date.

It's a matter of putting it all down to experience, but don't worry,we all have done it. My FIL name John, but everyone has called him Jack since day 1, the number of tickets that I bought and were lost, I would hate to estimate.
