My wife, 2 year old daughter, and I had a two night stay and another one night stay here a couple of weeks ago. All in all, definitely a positive experience, but there were several issues. I believe they now have a shuttle to the airport with a fairly limited schedule. There is a desk for the hotel in the arrival hall, but it was not staffed when we arrived. We had a rental car and it was a very short drive, obviously.

The staff were super friendly and definitely made us feel welcome. Our stays were only a night apart so everyone knew us by the end. The service, on the other hand, was pretty shaky. For the platinum amenity, we chose a cake. I don't remember the exact details, but hours passed between the time they called to ask if we were ready for it and them actually bringing it up. This was after I had had to go back downstairs to ask for our luggage to be sent to the room. They were holding it for us since we had gotten to the hotel before our room was ready. One of our bags failed to make our flight, so the airline was going to send it the next afternoon. Since my daughter was napping when we expected it to arrive, I called down and asked to have all calls to the room blocked. First they called to tell us the bag made it, then they called to ask if we had requested help with the ac. I'm not sure how they managed to squeeze two calls into such a small window, but they did.

They have a bakery/cafe and takeaway items are half price after 9. They included the breakfast buffet thanks to our platinum status, and we thought it was pretty good. We also had the dinner buffet one night. It was also pretty good, with roast chicken and duck, rack of lamb, and many other choices. It is odd to walk through the restaurant to get to the pool.

The first stay we had a junior suite with an airport view. The second stay was a true suite with a city view, although the city is off in the distance. Both were very nice for Four Points rooms.

There is a large executive lounge with a couple of hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and sweets.

On our last night, they rolled out the red carpet. Appartently a former Prime Minister is good friends with the owner and he and his family were coming for a stay.

There are a couple of minimarket type places in the BDC mentioned in the OP, as well as two bakeries, a 100 yen store, and a laundry.
