As a local resident about 5 blocks away from this hotel, I can say that this is by far the best Marriot. You have a subway station about a block away going into Manhattan. If your in no hurry, you can walk right over the Brooklyn Bridge (great views) and into downtown. There's a large subway stop right over the bridge on the Manhattan side to get you around Manhattan. Neighborhood is fine. Its NYC and there are always a few strange eggs out there..lol. Brooklyn Law School and the Supreme Court are right there.
