I'd choose the Rennaissance. They just redid all of their rooms and they are better than the rooms in the Marriott STL (nice beds!).

They are working on common areas now, so you may want to keep that in mind if you are planning on sleeping in late. Also, the Concierge lounge has been temporarily located to a top floor conference room.
