Which MVCI in Palm Desert, CA?
Mrs, and I are heading to Palm Desert, CA for a long weekend this Feb. It is the first time to the area for us.

Purpose of the trip is: 1) Relax w/o the kids and 2) scope out the area and MVCI properties and see if we want to return with the kids next year as a family vacation.

Help me choose between the 4 MVCI properties in the area:
Shadow Ridge I - The Villages
Shadow Ridge II - The Enclaves
Desert Springs Villas I
Desert Springs Villas II

Note, Shadow Ridge I/II is $70 less per night than Desert Springs Villas I/II.

I read about the JW Marriott pool access if you stay at Desert Springs Villas I. We plan to hit the SPA at the JW anyways 1 day so don't know if this is really a big deal for us since we "should" get pool access. Also, isn't it a little chilly for the outdoor pool in Feb?

Property and trip suggestions and comments welcome.
