Hi, here's the situation if anyone can offer some help/insights it would be really great!

My girlfriend and I are going tp spend New Years Eve at the Marriott in Sugarland, TX. She is Marriott Platinum and we are hoping to make the reservation under her in hopes of a room upgrade. I, on the other hand, was Silver until they extended the "Taste of Gold" promotion to me. I've stayed 9 of the 10 nights needed to keep Gold Status through Feb 2011 and could use this final night (prmotion ends 01/01/2010) to meet the threshold.

Would it be possible for my girlfriend to make the reservation, then at check-in have my Marriott number put on the account so that the day counts towards my "Taste of Gold"?

If not, is there any other way to make this happen?
