We were in HKG last week. In spite of what I read on FT and Tripadvisor, several people sort of shrugged their shoulders when I made inquiries of Macau. One shoulder shrug had that why bother look.

We spent the extra day exploring Hong Kong. I would suggest a day trip to see the Big Buddah on Lantau (sp) Island.
