Has anyone ever identified a correlation between high bookings on UA's own flights and an increase in availability of award tix on other *A carriers flying alternative routings?
Or, put another way: if I want to fly LAX-ZRH-TLV on LX, would it help or hurt for other people to have bought a bunch of REFUNDABLE

tix on UA's LAX-LHR, so that the system won't try to force me to fly LAX-LHR-TLV (on BMI for -TLV)?
