Hi all,

I am flying from MEL-HKG on the QF29 and I have a couple of boomerangs that I am taking home as pressies for friends. I would rather pack them in my carry-on rather than checking them in, but does anyone know if I would be allowed to take boomerang's on board the plane? (Soft suitcase and worried they would get broken - also, are boomerangs considered weapons still)?

I have looked through the Qantas website but I cannot find anything. Anyone know if these are ok to be taken on board or if I would have to check them?
