I was reading the CO board about their reciprocal benefits on UA and towards the end of the thread I read that we had gotten our CR1's back. Now that we have CR1's + UDU ( I will change my signature since we did get CR1's back) along with M upgrade possibilities on CO, which on the fares I checked were actually reasonable LAX - IAH difference of only $200 for rock bottom fare vs. M fare, does this make MP the best program? Does AA or DL have a CR1 like instrument? I realize that international fliers might still choose AA because of their VIPOWS but our W fares are not that bad except for maybe to SYD and AA lacks the TPAC network. Starnet blocking is a pain but I have yet to use alliance partners for my miles. What do you think?
