Don't worry - IB is fine, at least in C-class. The crews have been consistently good, and I really have no complaints about the seats. Probably a nicer way to ease yourself into S America than flying the flag.

The change at MAD can be seen as bonus (breaking up a long journey) or a bit of a drag.

Don't even THINK of travelling through Miami. Or anywhere else in the US. Awful business.
