Seriously, to answer the OP: When I look at farecompare, it is rare to see a domestic flight from DFW for less than 5-6 cpm, whereas from either coast, transcons under 4 cpm are frequent.

International flights are your best bet. Occasionally WN will have a sale and others will match, so you can find cheap positioning flights for domestic MR.
