For myself, MSP is on the list merely by comparison to the pre-DL days. I actually used to like MSP quite a bit. Since the DL takeover, it seems that the quality of the clubs, the ability of GAs to solve problems, and the effectiveness of IROPS resolutions -- especially those that affect equipment -- have all gone WAY downhill. Also, anecdotally, my bags have been lost 3 out of the last 5 trips through there, which NEVER happened before, though I'm seasoned enough to admit that could just be bad luck. I actually used to rather enjoy the MSP-NRT connection, but have just had a string of mediocre experiences in the last year. By comparison to the other NW Int'l gateways, DTW seems to have withstood the transition much better.

However, the others in my group were less complimentary than I. In general some said they hate flying through MSP now -- one said moreso than ATL, though I'll have to ask him and return to this thread later to provide more specific details on why...
