Hampton Inn Dorval/Montreal Airport Trip Report
I had a very nice experience here last weekend and thought I would share my report.
Location: Warning! Google Maps has no idea where this hotel is. I ended up in the middle of an industrial park. Luckily, the front desk gave me very good directions. The hotel is next to QC-40 (part of the Trans Canadian Highway) and within a mile of two (!) Tim Hortons.
Hotel: Property is a few years old but looks nice. No wear and tear in the communal areas or room. Big breakfast area with a lot of tables and high ceilings. However, the front desk is small and there isn't much room in front of it.
Check In: When I showed up there was a large party badgering the clerk about something. I stood off to the side until they left. The desk clerk both at check in and the one the next day were great. I got my first ever room upgrade at a Hampton.
Room: Large one bedroom with a couch, coffee table, centrally located television and two fake plants in a large living room type area and a desk near a kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Bathroom was standard size. View was of a parking lot (which was large, lots of space for my car). Everything in the room worked great including the shower and internet.
Other: Breakfast was good the next day even though the sausage and apple juice were strange colors. Welcome ammenities were in my room.
I paid $89 for this hotel and would happily stay again. One of my best Hampton experiences.
