Yes, but to avoid disappointment check Expertflyer before you book, in case C inventory is not available for the particular flight you choose. Even better, check EF, hold the flight and then call to apply the SWU before purchasing. You can then either purchase while you're on the phone or on AA.com before the hold expires. That way, if the C inventory disappears between the time you check EP and call for the SWUs to be applied (i.e. while you are buy the tickets) you won't be committed to that flight.
