The SH Montreal is brand new so everything is modern. The room I stayed in (609) was bigger than any Champlain room I have ever stayed in. Just to let you know that the odd number rooms on the 6th floor are bigger than the even numbered rooms. The corner rooms are ven bigger. Some rooms have balconies on the executive level (5th floor ??)

Breakfast at SH is nothing to speak of. They offer continental only so no eggs etc..

The SH is attached to a very good restaurant (oldest in MOntreal??) and a spa.
