When checking in using these certificates, they sometimes put the rate on the registration and it is HIGH. Maybe this is so when they sent the invoice to Marriott corporate for reimbursement they get more? I am sure there is a formula Marriott uses to compensate the properties.

That use to the case but about 12-18 months ago internal accounting was changed and this is no longer the case
