Link 2 separate bookings to ensure sitting together
I have a few flights coming up for 2 people where each person has been booked separately.

What do I specifically needs to ask for when ringing Qantas to link these together.

I have already rang QF to ask to ensure we sit together. The person asked for my booking reference, then asked for the other persons name traveling and said "that's done".

It seemed too easy.....

Also is it possible to check-in online or via the kiosk to ensure that we sit together once the bookings are "linked" or do I need to go to a check-in desk?
