Hyatt Place Dallas / Plano REVIEW - MASTER THREAD

Just completed a 2 night stay here - typical Hyatt Place (I realize that if I'm not travelling alone I really hate these properties since if your companion gets up first and using the "bathroom" sink with the light on you really can't continue sleeping).

Problem that I note: my 2 night reservation was for 1st night at AAA rate and 2nd night was my "free" HP/SS "award" (note this was booked under 1 confirmation number by my Private Line Agent). I checked in at the kiosk since the lone attendant was busy serving wine to some women - noted that the kiosk receipt indicated a 1 night stay - so spoke to the attendant and he said it will be fine - next morning, got a folio under the door - so had to speak with the woman attendant who couldn't find the reservation at first but then found it - she checked me out and back into the same room. Not sure what the problem was but I had a similar issue at Andaz LA in April for the Hyatt Do.

Also, to me it seemed like the continental breakfast is now even more continental - with no pastries / croissants at all - only "bread" choices were two types of bread and a basic bagel. Since I haven't been actually at a HP in ages, I'm not sure if this is chainwide or just this location.

EDIT: Oops I should add that the big-TV had plenty of HD channels operational but wireless signal was very weak.

I should also note that while the directions to the property on the Hyatt site is correct - Mapquest is incorrect since the Parker exit off the North Dallas Tollway is just past the property (and the frontage / service road is one way only) so you have to circle around to get to the property (pretty obvious but just a little warning).
