Your daughter can be manifested as a person requiring "More assistance" meaning that our people will give your daughter additional attention in getting to and from where she needs to be, though to what extent within the airport, I am not sure. Has your daughter flown alone, either recently or in the days when we used to offer unaccompanied minor service? I am not sure if gate passes can be given anymore, since we don't offer unaccompanied minor service anymore. But be rest assured that your daughter will be taken care of very well!

In any case, make sure the agent adds comments to your daughter's file and to the Flight Attendant's "specials manifest" such as "13 yr old flying alone, please assist to and from gate/baggage areas", so that we know how to help on the plane.
